Michael and Cassie brought the kids up and picked up Fazoli's so we could have a family dinner together. There is a nice dining area near mom's room and we all ate together. Jacob liked running through the halls and was a hit with the nurses. We showed them the gym where mom does physical therapy and Sophie said "this is the best place ever!" Sophie tried out all the steps and doors and looked into everything they have there.
Earlier in the day my mother-in-law Judy came to visit mom and brought a stuffed dog the laughs and rolls over every time someone moves passed it. That was a hit with the nursing staff. There are a couple who are really funny and they had mom in stitches before bed tonight.
Mom's spirits seemed quite high today and she just keeps making improvements. Thanks again for your continued prayers.
Melissa, this is such wonderful news!! Thank you sooooo much for posting so faithfully. It's such a delight to hear that Linda was laughing and enjoying the toy dog, the grandchildren, and all of you. Just love to read your blog.
